Self Directed Services

Under self directed services, clients receive an individualized budget and they decide how they are going to use that money (within specific rules and guidelines).  This includes selecting their own employees, which often include people they know, as well as training, scheduling and supervising these employees.  Clients also can purchase other goods and services to meet their needs, such as adaptive equipment, training, and modifications.
Orion ISO works with a variety of programs and service options so our role may vary according what service we are providing.  Some of our responsibilities may include helping individuals get set up as their own employer, helping individuals establish a budget for how they plan to use the money, handling payroll responsibilities, for employees, reimbursing approved goods and services, providing human resources support, billing the appropriate funding source as well as reporting and monitoring of service usage.  
We also work with people who choose to private pay for services.
