Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)

In compliance with the state of Minnesota, Orion ISO is pleased to announce the implementation of our new electronic system, starting in summer of 2022!

The 21st Century Cures Act requires providers of personal care and some waivered services to use electronic visit verification to be eligible for full federal Medicaid matching dollars in Minnesota. Electronic visit verification is a system that electronically verifies a home or community-based visit has taken place by documenting:

 

• Type of service performed
• Who received the service
• Who provided the service
• Date of the service
• When the service begins and ends
• Location of service delivery
