Best Life Alliance (formerly known as the 5% Campaign) is hosting a Day at the Minnesota State Capitol rally on Tuesday, March 15, 10 – 11 a.m. This is a great opportunity to meet with Gov. Mark Dayton and your legislators!
Help inform your legislators and the Governor so they will pass a 5% rate increase for Home and Community-Based Services! On Tuesday, March 15, the Best Life Alliance will be hosting a rally at Cedar Street Armory (the Capitol is under construction), 600 Cedar Street in downtown St. Paul. Join them to display your support for services affecting people with disabilities.
This rally affects people with disabilities, their families, and support staff. We need you to show up and show your support! Every person that can attend is strongly encouraged to do so, every person counts! At this year’s rally, MOHR President Mike Burke, legislative champions, disability community leaders, and self-advocates will speak and help attendees get excited for meetings with legislators.
